Section titled “Month 1: The Foundation (March)”Goal: Legal Entity + Playable Greybox on PC
- Legal: Form S-Corp, get EIN, sign Founder Agreements.
- Tech: Setup UE5 repo with GAS and Rollback Netcode plugins.
- Design: Lock “The Ryu” (All-rounder) and “The Grappler” movesets.
- Platform: Get build running on Steam Deck.
- Web: Launch landing page for email capture (
aminagames.com).
Month 2: The Core Game (April)
Section titled “Month 2: The Core Game (April)”Goal: Vertical Slice (Fun to play, ugly to look at)
- Combat: Hitstop, blockstun, scaling, and super meter functioning.
- Art: Blockout stage with correct metrics.
- AI: Deploy “Agentic Move Tuner” (Python script to tweak frame data).
- Grant: Submit NVIDIA Inception application.
Month 3: Content Ramp (May)
Section titled “Month 3: Content Ramp (May)”Goal: 2 New Characters + Mobile Proof-of-Concept
- Characters: Implement “The Zoner” and “The Mix-up”.
- Mobile: Android build with touch overlay controls.
- VR: “Toy Scale” camera Proof-of-Concept on Quest 3.
- Assets: Replace character greyboxes with purchased/generated assets.
- Grant: Prepare Epic MegaGrant submission (needs video).
Month 4: The Polish (June)
Section titled “Month 4: The Polish (June)”Goal: Alpha Testing (Family & Friends)
- Netcode: Stress test custom rollback solution.
- UI: Main Menu, Character Select, HUD finalized (not placeholder).
- Audio: SFX for hits, blocks, and super moves.
- Test: First closed Alpha playtest (10-20 users).
Month 5: Marketing & Scale (July)
Section titled “Month 5: Marketing & Scale (July)”Goal: Build the Hype
- Store: Steam & Epic Store pages LIVE (Wishlists open).
- Promo: 60-second Gameplay Trailer.
- Community: Discord server public launch.
- Influencer: Send keys to 500 FGC creators.
Month 6: BETA LAUNCH (August)
Section titled “Month 6: BETA LAUNCH (August)”Goal: Public Beta & Data Collection
- Launch: Public Beta on Steam.
- Data: Telemetry dashboard live (Retention, Balance).
- Funding: Use Beta metrics to pitch Seed Round investors.
Platform Strategy
Section titled “Platform Strategy”- PC (Steam/Epic): Primary. High-fidelity, competitive standard.
- Steam Deck: Critical. Must be “Verified” for portable play.
- Android: Secondary. Simplified controls, cross-progression, wider market.
- VR (Quest 3): Exploratory. “Toy Scale” view. High retention potential.
